My 80 series is getting a little old and I think I should put it out to stud. I have been looking for another vehicle to replace it and was hoping for another 80 series but could not find one. I still want a Toyota so I started to look at 75-78 series Troopies.
I think that I might have found one. A 1997 75 series Troopy. I aked the owner when I could take it for a test drive and was told Wednesday night I could pick it up and put it through it's paces.
After some hard talking on my side I am now taking the troopy on a 13 day
Simpson Desert crossing leaving this Saturday. Two days to set up the vehicle for the ulitmate test drive.

Boy you must have thumped that bloke pretty good to get it for 13 days.
Will he give you a discount also as it has now seen some real off road stuff and is now in worse condition than before you had your hands on it ? LOL
Is TD or Normally aspirated ?

John,
I have only had a quick look at the vehicle but it has a aftermarket turbo, front and rear diff locks, bullbar with a hydraulic winch, side bars, dual batteries and aftermarket (Paratus) seats. The rest I will find out about on Wednesday night.

As you say, trusting person! I wouldnt let anyone take my car round the block without me in it, or handing me FULL CASH AMOUNT before driving off.
