Huy Guys,
Looking at installing some spacers on my 90 series prado. Has anyone done this before? Specifically I would like to know how big were the spacers in the front?
I am looking at 30mm in the rear and I can remember someone telling me I should only go 15mm in the front for some reason, not sure why though???

Tim,
try www.lcool.org - there is a 90 series list there with a couple of '
suspension enthusiasts' on there ;-)

you cant space the spring by any more than the free space between the coils at full compression, or the spring will coil bind transmitting the shock load the bump stop is built to absorb into the spring tower.
15mm, at a 2:1 ration, because of the way the front spring works, would be about the same amount of lift as 30mm in the rear.
For the cheap cost of coils, I would be changing springs, rather than worry about spacers, though my front springs I ahve made an adjustable coil over spring
seat fit on the strut.
