Evening all,
Had to replace a stolen spare wheel and winch on a LC100 today.
Wreckers wanted $200 for rim(steel) and tyre and $75 for the winch assy.
Seems to be a good black market for Cruiser
wheels, the wrecker said he
had to find spare
wheels nearly every 2nd day for Cruisers.
He had to go to Victoria (I'm in Qld) to find a winch.
I had to modify the winch to accept the genuine jack winder handle as the
key for winding the winch did not match the new winch.
Recommendation - chain the wheel to the chassis as the thieves
just unbolt the winch.
Food for thought!
Cheers,

Nothing is stooping to low for these free lunchers. cruiser stuff is expensive, so better value than the commodore down the road.
