An article in our local paper (Daily Advertiser 28th Sept 204) today, had an interesting read.I wonder how many od us are insured with AAMI:
4WD OWNERS ARE ARRAOGANT.
Nearly half of all motorists believe the drivers of four wheel drives vehicles are more arrogant and more aggressive than other drivers, according to a new AAMI survey. They also found 70% of drivers believes four wheel drive owners were more dangerous for other road users, and 39% of four wheel drive owners agrred with the sentiment,
I wonder how many 4wd owners will ring AAMI for a quote when their insurance is due next?????????????????????????????????????

AAMI carried out the survey, it is not they who say we are arrogant. can't see why you have a problem with AAMI. BTW I'm not insured by them or connected in any way.

You would insure your car with a company that is causing us grief for no reason?
Every radio station, media outlet is really flooding the country with this one - from every newspaper, radio station etc, Cheap ratings.
I'll say it again, if they throw enoughbleepat us, eventually it will stick, and cause us headaches for no reason. Your happy with that?

If their premium and cover was the best at the time then yes I would. Always found them a bit dear tbh.

My truck is insured with them... matter of fact I have three cars insured with them... and recently had to make a claim... Not a problem... not even one problem... so far they have brilliant.... BUT... A mate close to the ACT is having all sorts of problems with them at present... so maybe they're easier to deal with here in QLD

Of course all 4X4 drivers are arrogant; all Volvo drivers wear hats; all Hi Lux drivers wear wrap around sunglasses; and all Commodore drivers are petrol heads.
Need I go on?
Labels say a lot about the people applying them.
AAMI is trying to shape public opinion. Must be a dollar in it somewhere for AAMI.
AAMI would be more credible if it criticised advertising that promotes speed (eg the Commodore ute ads) or queried the sense of making cars that can go 2+ times the speed limit.
