Back from gulf trip

Hi all, back from our trip and back to work already :( . Had a great trip up through central Qld (east) to Lucinda for a bit of fishing and up and across to Karumba, where there is a plague of “hopper’s” which have eaten most of the grass and are even stripping the palm trees. Then to Lawn Hill N.P. stayed at Adele’s Grove what a beeeautiful place, a must if you are up that way. Then back down through western QLD and in through the Warri gate. Stayed for a while on the Darling River in Kinchiga N.P. and home through the central west of NSW. ( not very detailed I know but I’m not much of a Typist). We did 9500kms in 6 weeks, would have loved to stay longer in some places and probably missed some as well but there’s an excuse to go again. Only come across one other E.O. member a young family doing THE round trip in L/Cruiser and C/Trailer (sorry can’t remember names) at Undara lava tubes. Truck went well although it used a fair bit of juice with a tinny on top and towing the camper, can’t wait for the next trip but the missus say’s she wants to go somewhere in an aeroplane (why????).
