I use the pizza pan one for cooking the bacon and eggs, steaks
I use the trivet on top of the normal plate as it lets more heat into the top and keeps the amount of heat of the bottom

Sorry Ray, that link does not work.
I'm just looking at the Cobb blurp, the cooker's components listed are:
Lid; grill; fire basket; bowl, base insulator and the optional pizza pan.
No mention of trivet anywhere, is it a Cobb part??

The link worked in an earlier thread, in here they suggest putting the trivet between the meat and the bottom inside a
camp oven.
