Actually... I should have clarified the scenario a little more..
Firstly, the insurance company, AAMI, have been in regular contact with us each step of the way, and they actually rang earlier in the week to say there was a problem with getting a new roof lining and the car MAY be delayed. Then they rang to say it would be Tuesday, today they rang and said it would be Friday next week.
Second, we saw the car at the repairers and, in the interests of getting the car repaired correctly, are NOT having a gripe.... particularly we are not having a gripe at the insurance company, they aren't repairing the car, they're just paying for the job!
And based on the amount of damage that is being repaired, I ain't about to ask them to hurry up, which could mean a few shortcuts here and there and therefore a less than ideal repair!
We've been without it 34 days now.... another 5 or 6 won't hurt!
