Well guys , what can I say . This web site has introduced me to even move awsom people to go bush with .

Attendace was : John vic , ( Troopy )
Mark , Coney & Madilan ( Prado )
Me lol

Stayed at Paradise Valley next to the Macalister river . Weather was fantastic & yes I will mention it John , the nites were warm due to a piromaniac that we have on EO by the name of John. When john gets a fire going, you can keep warm from 15 feet away, lol . All jokes aside , a great bunch once again , a fantastic saturday going up gap track & down to the Gorge , I got to remember why i love this country so much once again.
For those who are thinking of doing the same trip . Please dont attemp it alone if you are not experienced , the entry had really turned to sh*t since last time I was there .

Was a great trip. Good to meet some of you in the flesh. Pity you had to leave early Sunday morning Eric. John & I did a great trip along some good tracks on Sunday as we slowly made our way back to the hard top. Explored along the Cruachan and Avon rivers with about a dozen river crossings. Some great fun and magnificent country side. (Glad I got my snorkel a few weeks ago though. It really helped)

Oh, and Eric. I think you need to go to ARB or a few other outdoor/4x4 stores and get yourself a few gadgets. Your vehicle is pretty bare and could do with a few odds and ends. Some bigger tyres would have also helped. Lol.

I hope Dean is feeling better.

Made it home guys.
A bloody great weekend, Eric thanks for the arranging part and the company, just great as usual. (Pity you missed Sunday)
To Mark, Connie and Madeline it is a personal pleasure to meet some more real nice people from this site, today was a great add on after yesterdays fun.
Fantastic country, I can never tire of it.
Hope we can do it again soon.

I forgot to add.
Pyromaniac be buggered, you blokes would have had a real bleep poor fire if I did not bring the chain saw and take care of business.

Then your post would have been titled Great weekend pity about the fire.

Connie wants to know if you will send a brochure on chainsaws. She is thinking of getting me one for Xmas. (hint hint).

Actually if I push the issue anymore, I can pretty much well guess the response.

1. "Over my dead body." - well, hmmm, let me think about it. I do know some people.

2. "It's the chainsaw or me. Make a decision." - well a chainsaw is less maintenance and makes less noise.

Try telling her to check out the Stihl web site. LOL.

Why haven't you changed your rig picture as yet, The one with the Troopy crossing the Avon would look good.

Are you happy now?

I couldn't compress my other picture small enough to put up there. The one of you getting snatched by a KIA. lol

But I did upload and replace my second picture with one of you playing with your snake if you care to have a look.

Problem fixed now Mark.
Great rig photos the best I have seen if I do say so myself.
Can you doctor the one with me and the snake, my gut sticks out a bit.
Would be nice if you slimed a couple of inches of for me. LOL

P.S. Well done John, can't beet a chainsaw fed fire I reckon ( in heavily timberd areas with plenty of dead trees around of course) (for the greenies)

Thanks Browny, pity you missed it.
Weather was perfect, company great, tracks and scenery brilliant.

Yeah as for the chainsaw, they all want one now.
Surprised me Eric does not have one, he has everything else in that truck.
At least he could find the dead trees for me to cut when I got back from a quick drive on a track with Mark. LOL.

Eric,

Now that the trip is over if you go back to the Trips/Gatherings system you will be able to load a write up and upto 6 pics of the trip. If you would not mind doing this that would be excellent. The system will also post a thread to advise people that the trip/gathering has had a report added. YOu could just add the simple write up from this post if you like and maybe 6 of the best pics.

Enjoy.
