I have a LWB Turbo Diesel Patrol. The old girl has done 300000 Km. It had a motor/gearbox rebuild at 212000 and didnt really need it. It uses no oil or water and has no nasty quirks. Will it be up to a trip around Aus. It is regularly serviced and maintained

Jock,I think you are very safe engine ways but dont forget the other bits, wheel bearings, brakes etc,300,000km sounds like a lot but for a diesel that been serviced regularly is not,i have sold a
HJ47 Land Cruiser with 470,000 and was still going very strong using only about 1.5lts of oil between services,so give it a good gral going over and set out to enjoy OZ
Cheers Joe
