Satellite phone hire

Hi guys & gals.

I want to hire a sat phone for 2 weeks, possibly pick up in Alice Springs and return to Melbourne.

I have previously hired and used one but the compny no longer exists.

Any suggestions as to a recommended company?

Telstat don't hire themselves but will be able to refer you to a company that does.

Also If my memory serves me, there was someone who advertised on this site, search the business listing bit.

i didnt have one back then willem...but i do now....
and cdma sheits over the digital network for distance covered eh?

but it will only get used ifrequently so i might as well hire it out if possible to recover costs

Telstat don't hire
G & C comms aren't in phone book
Time Communications do not exist (maybe Time Plus?)

Anyhow, I rang around and also spoke to Rent a Satellite Phone who advertise on ExplorOz and they seem pretty helpful.

I do know how to use Google and the phone book but sometimes a personal reccomendation from someone who has used a particular company can be a good place to start.
