We found out that the front
wheels were not driving at one of the river crossings quite by accident i was turning around and backed down towards the river when i took off it seem to dig into the soft gravel so i gave a boot full so i wouldn't get bogged, Mike commented you should have put it in 4WD and i said it was, he said that strange your front
wheels weren't spinning only the back so when we go back we found a bank we could drive up too to see what was going on upon driving up the bank to the point where forward movement is stopped and you loose traction the back
wheels spun but nothing from the front, we did this in high 4WD & low 4WD it accually made it up the bank to the same point with the switch in 2WD, it's an electronicly controlled trany, so checked fuses all ok, only thing i can think of is a front sensor or one in the transfer case. It's funny but i think when we were coming up from Bendethra were we got stuck someone mentioned they thought the back
wheels were spinning and not the front but thought nothing of it, anyway thats the Explorer drama. I think it has been this way for a while cause i also remember Steve (ACT) when we were at the Brindabellas going up the last section to the top of Mt Coree saying you were spinning those back
wheels a bit going over those rocks. It's going into Ford tomorrow so here's hoping. Might even be time too update !! This is why i didn't put it in the report, it's a story in it's self.
