I'm considering buying (for odd reasons :) two sets of Coopers AT tyres:

Any reports, good or bad on them guys?
Thanks in advance
Mike

Cooper A/T's on the Prado (265/70R17).
Very happy so far after 12,000km
Was bashing thru scrub around
Whyalla last weekend and they did the job with no problems at all, including some pretty narly rocky
hill climbs around the Iron Ore mines.
No problem recommending them.
Cheers

Mike,
I too have Cooper AT's on prado with 30000 k on them. Have just travelled from
Cairns across the gulf to
Darwin and return with no punctures and no tyre damage. It looks like i'll get 40 to 50000 k out of the set. They are very good on the road as
well as dirt and in particular their wet weather performance is excellent. The only negative is that I dont think their suggested big klm wear adveristising is achievable in the real world -
well not in my real world anyway.
Cheers
Kevin

I've got STs and I agree with your comments about wear. After 20,000 km they are about half worn.

Have the AT's on my Pajero. Great tyres, got 22k on them and about 1/3 worn.

Hi Mike,
AT's come in "Passenger" & "Light TrucK" constructions. I had passenger AT's when going on a trip to Kimberley/
Pilbara. Puntured 4 tyres & Coopers said I should have used LT construction.
Changed over to ST's & after 20,000km would not be worn more than 25%. Great tyres with no problems - just returned from 2 months in
Cape York.

Thanks to all who responded.
I think I'll go for the Ats but with some reservations as to their longevity.
