All the Fords were there in the top ten but there had to be one Holden on the top spot then Ford, ford, ford , ford, ford etc. Anyway it is first place that count's - we even threw Kangaroo's at the Holdens to spot them (revenge after Richards tried to put Jones out at the botton of Conrod). Well it looks like Ford have an issue with scrubbing front tyres by bottoming out in the wheel arches - if this did not happen I'm sure the podium would have looked a little more Blue. Anyway next year - didn't I say that last year & the year before ?

Do you know how to double the value of a Ford?

Fill up the fuel tank.

Boom Boom

Second place is first loser....

That's 24 : 14 Holden to Ford wins.

Still won't be buying an Adventra, though Holdens latest glossy mag they keep mailing me has an article on one that did the trip up Cape York and back in one piece. Anyone fancy a challenge? There's one I wouldn't have attempted.

Yeah each to their own, I find AFL and Rugby as boaring as bat poo personally, Bathurst is like my grand final, that's why the TV has more than one channel guys! ;-)

Yeah there's always and excuse for the fords, go KMART Racing!!!
Notice the only holdens that got knocked out, where actually knocked out!!! The falcons are always the ones to break front hubs, or scrub tyres etc etc. Remeber when the holden even got plastic bags caught in the air damn, still bloody one!! HA!
Bathurst is about reliability and ford just don't have it. Sure they can make a big motor go fast, but it's more than that. That's the beauty about bathurst.

It's ok, my dad was recording the whole thing on Hi Deff. widescreen onto his computers, should be able to get a copy. Imagine the cars driving around with Bullbars and spotties, hee hee.

Jeff, the Holdens tried to knock each other out in the first 400m of the race - then Steve Richards tried to knock out Brad Jones down Conrod; we took care of him with a roo. Reliability - how many Holdens were in the top ten. I can also remember the famous GTHO Phase III with a newspaper right acreoss the front of the radiator aswell.
Anyway Murphy did and great job especially his Pit crew to get him out so quick.

There's only 1 position in the top ten that counts Jeff and nobody will remember who came second, third, fourth........ etc in years to come ?

Murphy was always gonna be the one to beat !

A good days racing though I thought

Have they allowed Holden to change their aerodynamics back to what it was three years ago so they can go faster again? This was the only way to make the racing close again - to slow the Holdens down!
The officials were worried that it would finish up like F1 racing with the same brand winning all the time. Go Holden!

"This was the only way to make the racing close again - to slow the Holdens down!"

exactly.. bollox rules that are a waste of time.. If ford cant hack it then bad luck.

then again, they cried when holden and ford stood no chance against the others, so to make it easier, just ban ford too.. and holden
