I have a Jayco camper trailer. The screens have become brittle over the years and small tears are appearing.

Short of removing all the canvas and having new screens professionally sown would anyone have a clever idea as to how to replace the existing screens?

I have thought of numerous ideas including the use of glues and press studs but am hoping that someone may have solved this porblem more efficiently.

Please help if you can.

Cheers

If you do take the canvas off to put new screens, get them to sew velcro on to the canvas and then onto the screens, then when they wear you just remove the screens and put on new ones, pity Jayco don't do it from the start.

Jayco do it with their pop tops. We have a Freedom and the screens are velcro'd on.
