It has been interesting reading all the info re. fridges over the last 2 yrs.and boy has there been some fantastic ideas and help from members. Yep, I finally bought a reefer 60l. Went to a reef island for 10 days. fridge ran hard for 3 days on 1 battery before the voltage limiter on fridge stops it from draining to far. Then I swapped it over with another as I run duel in the boat. 2-3 hrs running around each day and swapping them over gave us no hassles. Amazingly the battery wouldn't run the 50 danfoss yet it would start a 85hp dunger of an outboard? Fan is a bit noisy compared to mates evercool but it sucked my mates batteries out in 2 days and his 60l has only the 35 danfoss. Must say the thicker walls of the reefer was noticable in its performance just in esky mode. Can't fault fridge so far, robust material, easy to handle, good cables, service and follow up from sales has been good . Lid seems a bit flimsy but it sealed well and you can sit on it. comes with a basket which i foolishly left out and sure enough things rubbed on inside wall. Suggest leaving it in for any rough driving. best of luck Paul.

$900 including 240V converter. yep I think so far it is a great buy. The others were all around $1300. Some concern as to how far away reefer are from me(ie Noosa) however they now have an agent in Brisbane. but lets hope I have no trouble.
