For those of you who loved the flood photos - here's a chance to look at some terrific aerial photos by someone who lives in this channel country. His photos come alive. To have a look at them go to:
www.framecraft.com.au - go to the bottom of the page and click on outback photography. Hope you enjoy them.
This photographer John Ricketts (along with Wolfgang John of Birdsville) will be amongst exhibitors at the Art Showing in Birdsville on Friday 29 April 2005 at the commencement The Great Cattle Drive 2005 - down the Birdsville Track to Marree.

Beautiful photos indeed Ruth.

Saw a chap who had been talking to you some time back - told him it's all untrue!

Podiatry - hah! Stick to what you know. We've got a great Podiatrist (young too) who knows his stuff and fixes our foot fetishes every 6 weeks now!! LOL (Was that Roachie?)

G'day Ruth and Andrew,
No it wasn't me Ruth........I'm a bit selective about who I talk to, you know. hahahaha
Ruth, sorry we missed saying good-bye the other day when we left.....you'd done a runner (up to Big Red perhaps??). Thanks so much for your hospitality during our stay. We went out to Pelican Point, but the water didn't look suitable for the kids to swim......and we had to spend half an hour at the washdown slab to get the mud off our vehicles.
Hope you got my card and that you will remember to call here when you're down this way next year or any other time.
What has happened to you RIG PIC?
Cya.....

Definitely some great photos there. I liked the road train leaving dust and going into water the best.

Fantastic photos Ruth.......I think he needs to get his camera fixed though; all the images have a pair of initials overstamped which spoils the pics and makes them unsuitable for printing off. LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Like Brian said, being a diesel nut, I liked the road train shots the best.
Cheers

Hi Ruth-

It is a while since we talked, I hope all is going well out there, as you head into the hot weather.

Nice photos for sure. Wish I had a helicopter when I was out there, you sure can get a real impression of the open spaces from the air. BTW, if your ever looking for someone else to exhibit, call me :-)

We have only begun our web site and I have thousands of images yet to post, but you can see some of them here- www.djolsen.com
