sierra front tailshaft price?

if it is my front tailshaft stopping my 4wd working, how much would a new one cost to fit?

Usually Front tailshafts dont stop working.

Diffs and transfer cases do. both are $$$..

All you need to look for , is to see if the tailshaft is there , if you dont know what one looks like , its a long steel tube that connects your gear box to the diff , you should find 2 under your car , one in the front one in the back . If it is there go no further . Now since you made the comment , I will ask this , did you engage 4 wd drive with the leaver in the car ?

and did you try switching your hubs a couple of times ? this sometimes frees them up .

I suggest you get dirty..in other words get under your Suzi and have a look at what is there and what isn't and then tell us.
