Yes, I have one.

Haven't used it a lot, but the few times we have, all has gone well.

Tell ya what though, this is what I sometimes do if I'm on my own, and don't want to mess around to much at camp.

If I get in late to camp, I open up a heap of tinned veggies like carrots, peas, baby potatoes, etc.
Place them in the top pot, along with a knob of butter, and some seasoning. Note... no liquids, just the food.

Then place into the over the boiling pot for 15 minutes.

Excellent hot meal, and you don't have to eat it all in one sitting, just simply put back in the Dreampot.

Washing up? None!!

Use the hot water for anything else, or just reheat next morning.

Cheers

Bruiser,
Annette (my family's chief everything except driver) loves the dreampot. When we're travelling, she cooks up something for half an hour or so in the pot and sticks it in the camper trailer for the rest of the day.
When we set up camp and the others in our group are busy lighting fires etc to cook their tea, we simply relax and dish up the meal that has been "stewing" during the day.....too easy.
All the best mate.....

Sorry, missed a couple of words......

"for half an hour or so in the morning while I'm out gas-bagging to the other blokes about under-bonnet secret men's business etc".....

Hi Bruiser,

I was so impressed with Mrs. Wombats' dreampot on our recent trip that when we got home, I bought one. Have not had the chance to use it while camping, but have used it at home. It has come in very handy for cooking dinner on a Thursday night when we're home later due to swimming lessons. I have done pastas, rice, stews and corned beef in mine, no problems at all.

cheers

Lyn
