Hey again everyone
Thanks for all your awesome help concerning my suzuki. I tried what was suggested and basically you said if i locked my hubs, left it in 2wd and spun my front tailshaft by hand, and it spun, then i have a busted hub. So i did it, and it spun. Also when i left the hubs in free and put it in 4wd, the tailshaft would not spin. So from the advice that was given before it sounds certain its a busted hub.
Is that the only problem it could be though? Or could i narrow it down even more?
Today i lifted the car with axle stands and could not get the front
wheels to spin at all no matter what i did.
So should i be shooting down to the 4wd
shop to get new hubs, or could there be something else?

havent been following your threads but , how did you get it to the axle stands if the front
wheels wont spin at all? that could be just your front discs dragging? Open up your hubs and see if the axles are turning when you do the same test as before? could be the diff also??

If you can spin the
wheels by hand then it is not the discs. However if they don't spin 'at all' then you should be checking this out.
If the problem is in the front end somewhere it could be either:
hub
axle
diff
Unless you feel capable pulling this stuff apart then now is probably the time to take it to a mechanic. I wouldn't recommend you go any further than the hubs. Would be worth checking a wrecker for hub prices too.

ryna my suggestion which it sounds like you followed comes from my practical experience when I did just that early this year when I lost 4wd in my land cruiser and I was able to determine the hubs werent locking coz one of them was busted it was relitively cheap to fix by toyota standards. There are other possabilites like axles etc but the hubs would be where I would start to invetigate

Most probable cause is a stuck free wheeling hub....take them off and clean them out, regrease and reinstall/test out.
