From memory, the new patrol out is the GU Series IIII or IV, whatever.

Who knows what the next one will be, MQ, GQ, GU might even change the first letter this time...

You sure it's not PU for Pretty Ugly.
Looks crap compared to the series 3.
Maybe PUF for Pretty Ugly Fuc@er.

Am I mistaken, or is it really a case of not much has changed?

Still no auto with the big diesel .... that's disappointing.

you will never get an auto in the 4.2

good way to force people into the lesser model.

Talkin to dude at wholesale autos about a conversion this morning in a GU 4.2, he has done em before.. its not as big a job as some may think ..

Did Rodney @ Wholesale Auto's give you any ideas on what's involved Bruce?
How about a rough guesstimate on Price?
Regards Andrew.

Hey andrew
Will ask more today when I pick up car.. Couldnt get a ride from work back there last night, took home the company XR-6 :D

Peter.
Again, I doubt that the next mod will have auto either, and hey lets start a rumour. Its going to be a V8 4.9 IC Turbo Diesel...
The 4.2 is going to be dropped as it wont meet the new emission laws that come in in 2006, so we know there will either be an update, or bye bye, and only the Sunday Piston Model.. (SPM).

I noticed on the latest ad for the new Patrol, that the rego. plate is ?GV-??? - sorry but can't remember the other characters, but the GV stood out!

Just a thought,
Jezza
