I rated the trip Easy to Medium, and poor old Leigh was out of his depth literally.
At least I got someone else to take there pants off and preserved my reputation in this respect.

I guess he did not realize who I have been associating with in recent times.

Thanks for the day John and to Leigh for writing the report and to all who turned up. I left home at 7.00am and returned 12hrs later not knowing where all that time had gone, it sure goes fast when ya having fun. It was a good tryout of my recently purchased Hilux which perfomed well. I wasn't expecting any winching but was pleased to try my winch by hauling John out who once insisted on checking the depth of the bog with his diffs :) Some rough tracks, lots of bush and great company sure makes for a good day out oh and I must say Bernies Prado impressed guided by some of his expert driving.

Agreed Ray the old Bernie sure can drive that Play doe.
I to am impressed with it's ability and ground clearance.

Just a pity about all the plastic bits hanging off the outside that always seem to fall off at the most inopportune times.

I was very happy with it Baz. It took everything in its stride and being locked at both ends there's usually no need to rush at things. The clearance is a blessing after the old Rodeo. Pic below from the start of the day, it wasn't quite so clean at the end :)

Mate I am still washing mine, bloody mud everywhere.

What happened to those photos you were going to email to me.
I have some from Ray but they are mostly the Troopy bogged to the head lights so to speak.
Would be nice to post a few of everyone Else's truck also.

Willem what can I say.........
I am always in the $hit it's only the depth that varies.

Hmmmm I am also sure that I am not the only bloke who has had the odd puncture or two and needless to say got bogged once or twice.
I seem to recall a story about bogs from you in your younger day's up in the NT.

By the way Willem, Muddy Girl has better legs than Luxoluk "Leigh"

the water shots look like the XL Track. I know of a few that are quite hard but u will get plenty of scratch's and dints.

Nah Rossco XL was closed along with a whole heap of others.
List of closed tracks is on Parkweb.

Plenty of others that are open with the same looking bog holes.
Wombat is renowned for it's bog holes, I have found them right through the forest and they all look the same, not sure off the top of my head if this track even had a name.
Yeah dents and scratches are the name of the game, happens when you take your 4by out of the driveway. LOL
