I have a SWB GQ with Tough Dog shocks and standard height 4Way springs (springs Opposite Lock match with Tough Dog). When initially installed a vibration occured at around 60kms per hr. Gearbox packer kit fixed it. When loaded for a trip ie recovery gear, hand winch, 40 litre fridge, standard fuel
tank 90ltrs, 40ltrs
water and 15kg tent, the back end saggs. What other springs would match the TD shocks loaded or unloaded whithout sagging and getting no vibration again? Please help
Regards

Further to my post above. Are there other springs which can be matched to the Tough Dogs? I do not want to use Polyair or equivalent.

Any springs can be matched to shocks - to a point.
So you have what sized lift?
Theres a shiat load of stuff you are packing into the car, Im betting that you will require heavy duty springs, which you should be able to get anywhere..
Its hard to have a massive articulating truck, thats great for serious hard core weekends as you need soft for that, and then have it as a massive weight carrying tourer.
Why dont you want polyairs? they are probably your best option... cheaper than new springs, then good for a weekender too

Truckster
They are standard height springs (medium load). The heavy duty springs would cause the vehicle to lift unloaded therefore vibration, wouldn't they? I am under the impression Polyairs can cause stress on other components. I might be wrong. Maybe Polyairs are the only way to go.
Cheers

Why would you get viabration in the car if it lifted with heavy springs? They are standard sized, and heavy duty will if at all lift 1inch which will cause no issues in SWB or LWB.
Polyairs put no stress on anything on the planet, apart from your wallet that is..
Enjoy.

If you already have the gearbox packers then i would go and get a 50mm higher spring AND/OR just get some springs made which are the same height but with one less coil in them...
