Hi Guys,

I hope someone can help me, I have just purchased a suzuki sierra 95 model, it has a vibration only at accelaration at around 30 k/h/h and then disapears, all mounts seem okay, the uni joints appear ok and the suspension is standard. The vibration is not isolated to any particular part of the vehicle it seems to vibrate throughout the whole body. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Without going for a drive it's hard to say but here's a few spots to look.
Tyres Balanced?
Tyres worn abnormally?
Tailshaft lost a balance weight or bent?
Wheel bearings OK?
Bent rim?
Wheel alignment?
Sounds like a hard one to find but good luck. Cheers Craig.............

Domenic,
check the condition of the exhaust, it may be contacting the body somewhere when the engine twists under torque, and/or exhaust mounts. Hope ya find it ....col

Possibly a harmonic resonation from an out of balance rear driveshaft????

Another possibility is if the springs are soft and sagging it may be allowing the rear diff to wrap (pinion pointing up) too much and allow the universal joint to cause vibartion/resonate the driveshaft.

Domenic, don't forget that unlike most four wheel drives you have a third drive shaft that runs between the gearbox and the transfer case. Many suzi owners are unaware of this and fail to maintain the uni's thereon.
