Hi all

A mate of mine recently got a set of these tyres in 245/75R16 LT size for his newish Navara TD. He has a friend who swears by them, giving story after story of not getting punctures when others on reputable tyres have. Does anyone have any actual experience with these tyres, including road noise, durability and wear rate? They are supposed to wear well, be 8-10 ply (depending on size) and be very resilient to puncturing. I can pick up a set for $197 ea. They don't look too different from Cooper S/T, quite an aggressive pattern for an AT with good gaps between lugs and a deep tread depth. Any comments appreciated.

p.s. my mate says they are slightly noisier than the Bridgestone Duelers the vehicle came stock with (only done 35000 kms and bald) but give a really sure footed feel to the driving even when on bitumen.

Regards

hi,
i am running a set of savero 33 x 12 r mudders on a import gq patrol which has about 8 000 kms on it with these tyres. I live in the bunbury area and belong to a local 4x4 club so the tyres do cop a bit of rock and mud work in winter. Aside from being noisy, approx same as bfg mudders ,i have had no punctures or problems with them. I was dubious about fitting them as i had run bfgs almost always previously but at a saving of about 100 dollars per tyre or more i can live with out the bfg label on the sidewall. I guess its a bit early to judge wear but time will tell. hope this helps.
