Hi im looking for a 4wd dual cab 2003,2004 model i like the hilux and the nissan narvara and rodeo i have never owned a 4wd before so i need some info on them i what to tow a horse float with it and go off road as
well please help

With some you need to buy a kidney belt as

Kidney belt not needed, just
suspension suitable for the intended purpose of the vehicle. My lux rides reasonably
well unloded, loaded it's like riding on a magic carpet but the missus says it's more like a bucking bronco and she's got more padding on the bum than me!...what a.....

As has been said already test drive all three and see which suits you best. I drove all three 9urbo diesels) about twelve months ago before buying an older Navara (too good a deal to resist). Of the three newere ones the Navara has the most power, and a great drive train and an LSD that is bulletproof. The Hilux holds its price best and has great build quality, the Rodeo has slightly more room. Apart from that they are all very similar IFS, rear leaf springs (below the axle in the Rodeo :( ), similar clearances and angles. I think the Rodeo is the only diesel with an auto gearbox. Navara has the best towing weights I think from memory.

If you are only looking to keep it for a few years as said previosly drive them all and buy the one that best suits you. If you are going to keep for 10years or more - buy the hilux
