Well went to Yalwal on the weekend the gates to Yarramunmun track still open at the moment, thank you Paul for the invite me and Angelo had a ball talked about it all the way home, 12 vehicles went and what a great bunch of guys and helpfull too, made the weekend so much better. This was my first attempt at serious 4WDriving with lots of
water, (
water came over the bonnet & up over the windscreen at one hole, deep ruts, steep downhills and up, rock stepups, bog holes and rain,
well when we got to the start of the serious part of the track i looked down & said you want ME to go down THERE !!!!! got the reply, yep don't worry we'll look after ya it's easy,
well they did and yes it was easyer than i thought all be it a tad scary, OK i was $ h i t scared !!!! sorry i can't post photos as i fogot my camera what a dork i am but will post them as soon as i get them from the others. The vehicles that came were 2 GQs, 2 100 cruisers, 2 80 cruisers, 3 GU Patrols, 1 3.0 Hilux, 1 TD Rodeo and my Explorer with 4WD. Paul can't remember everyone names don't want to leave anyone out.

Ill sus out some pics and possibly video once i talk to the blokes, bloody good rain, even in
Canberra, got home unloaded fridge, not running, so lucky for some warranty, and good help from fridgeshop, will let you know how they went. The Exploder went very
well i might add, Kerry would of been proud.. And thanks to Willems mention of sleeping in his GQ, i gave it a go, some pillows to fill some spots, rolled out the mattress, fridge basket on the floor, had a great sleep, although i must of slept a bit crooked, had a huge headache, and it WASNT the beer.
Cheer's Paul..

Yeh, leaning more towards the cruiser now that i have seen them in action compared to the GU aspecially going down steep inclines, the Explorer went
well Mick very pleased not as good as the vehicles with the live axels of course, only had to get snatched once as did one of the cruisers and a couple of others all an all preformed as
well as the others just took a bit more effort. That live axel makes a big difference.
Did you go the the Wattagans or was it too wet.

went to Wattagans on saturday afternoon for a romantic night by the campfire. 3
young blokes came in about 9pm and proceeded to hassal all in the place. Set up a TV and proceeded to play XXX rated Movies at full pelt. Went over with long handled shovel and told them I'd shove it up their clacker, wide end first. Must be something about me, but they were quiet as a mouse all night after that. People from the next
camp came over and thanked me, they were on their first
camping trip with their kids. I reassured them that not all campsites are like that and we had a few quiet ales. Did a few tracks the next morning before the rain moved in.

G,day Mick, we have to organise Bendethra again, Baz's "Extremer" can be the recovery vehicle, i was impressed with its performance on the weekend. Yeah the 100 series with the lockers made that
hill look like a flat road, good advertisement for ARB.
