A friend of mine from overseas asked me about regulations concerning suspension lift in Australia. I know that some insurance companies are allowing only 2’’ or 3’’ lift, but I am not aware of any legal regulations.

Can anyone help me with it?

I looked in the archive could't find the answer

Cheers,

I don't know what state you live in but in NSW you can go up 2" providing no other alterations are done other than springs or shocks, If so an engineers cert is needed.

If you are underwritten by CGU, most of their policies are 1" only (fat lot of good that is!)

You can legally lift one third of the suspensions downtravell from a neutral position, getting insurance might be another thing so two inchs of lift is the hassle free way to go.
