Hi everyone!
Since Terry became like a tractor latelly and torsion bars are maxed out, I was hunting for some suspension kits. i got quote for Ironman suspension kit: Torsion bars, rear coils, gas front and back absorbers, heavier offroad kit for $1000 inc. GST. It will lift Terry about 50mm more of the ground (falls into 2 inch limit). What are your taughts on ironman suspensions? And for this price of course!

Another thing that I would like to know: when you say 2 inch lift, does that include body or just suspension lift, and than you can do a body lift on top of that?

After new suspension I'm planing to put some bigger tyres when the time comes(read: money allows), so watch out for questions about that! : )

I've put ironman torsion bars and rear leaf springs on my 99 d/c hilux recently - I am very impressed so far and dont see the sense in spending squillions on something I dont need - horses for courses I guess. Plenty of people will bag lower priced equipment saying that it is bad quality but Ironman, as I was told, is Australian steel and comes with a 5 year warranty - seems OK to me and my hilux spends 95% of the time in the carpark at work (as will most of the other 4x4's out there, though the majority wont admit it) so I dont need anything spectacular as long as I can rely on it on the 1 or 2 big trips we do per year.

Good luck!

Shaun
