Eric,
I don't think that it matters. If in doubt try a multi meter and see if one earths out on the body. It wont take long to rip the back oof and have a look. Better safe than have to buy a new globe

Eric,

I'd use a multimeter to buz out earth to the case of the light. I think it's all metal so you should get continuity between one of the wires and the case or mounting bracket etc.
You will want to get the wires the right way around incase the body of the light is earthed otherwise if the case is live and you bolt them to the bull bar you will end up with a short!

Eric,
I am sure that it does not matter. I can remember cutting the yellow wire off. However if you used the brown for earth on one light then I would use brown for earth on the other light.

Don't worry about it if you stuff them up then it means you should have bought Light Force XGT's. LOL
Better light anyway, I was up at Paradise Valley with a mate who had those Hella's on his 80 series and the LF $hit all over them. LOL

As far as I am aware standard for extra LV & control wiring is Brown positive (active) & blue negative (neutral). Have fitted 4000s to both discovery & defender great lights. You will be best to fit a relay & 30amp inline fuse on the positive from the battery to the relay, that is what ARB fitted to mine.
