The reason there was some beating about the bush is that hardly anyone has heard of them (or seen them). Why go for something that is little known - if you are serious and want to change tyres on a 4WD at least stick with something that has a bit of a track record. rgds

Disagree.

I don't know anything of Trailmark tyres but would like to. Why buy BFG or others just because they have the "name".

Options are a wonderful thing.

Don't for a minute forget that Japanese cars were considered junk just 30 years ago.

How things have changed.

My brother has 33x12.5x15 Trailmark A/T tyres on his 45 Series Cruiser. Never had a puncture but he doesn't do much 4x4ing in it. Mainly beach and sand track driving when he does go away.

Bit noisy though. You can here them over the 351 V8.

Had a set of Trailmark Radial APRs on a feroza (205x75R15) and slashed 3 sidewalls in various condiditons, one being while I was driving up a forestry road doing about 40kmph. After that one I went to BFG ATs on that car then also the Jack and Prado and have had no problems.
I personally have no confidence in that brand.

I run trailmarks on several 'cruiser utes around the farm. Goodyear stock them I think.
They are very sturdy have the same pattern as the BFG A/T. They used to be cheap but last set I brought put the price up there around $200 ea.

My spray ute is on about it's third set started with 33x12.5's now down to 32x11.5's. This carts about 1.5 tons and gets flogged. I have only staked 1 tyre and delaminated (melted) 2 in a bushfire.
I have never heard any tyre noise over the scream of a 2H ;-)
They chop up a bit being that they spend 99% of the time on gravel, Seem to last on the bitumen. Have just fitted a set to my Hzj 79 (285/35x16- I think???) which does more highway work. Had some cheap junk- Savero ??? didn't last a year:-(

I have been using Trail Marks since 1997

IMHO they are a damn good tyre for their money.
