Tony,
I have a 50 lt Cole cool which I have had for about six years.I have mainly stayed away from the fridge debate on the forum as this fridge stopped production for a while. It has to be the best fridge available anywhere in Australia. The origonal builder of them is a former naval refrigeration engineer and he started building them for use by the mining industry. They are built to operate in the back of a 4x4 in the bush in extreme conditions and mine has been in some rough places and has been perfect.I have had a look at them under the Coolmen brand and they are exactly the same.

Tony,
Further to Ray's comment, 4 or 5 years back, when I was between fridges I wanted to hire Cole Cool for a trip as well as to see how good they were. When I went to the hire mob (The 12 Volt Shop (WA)), the bloke said sorry they are all booked the Cole Cool's are the first to go. I thought, that's a pretty good indication of how good the fridges are.
