as the owner of a gq patrol on gas & petrol i average about 4.5 ks per litre and this drops back to about 3kpl while towing .Can anybody tell me if I convert to V8will I improve consumption or are there better 4x4s out there for towing (I tow a 16ft van)

I have a range rover on gas and get 320 kms per 72ltrs towing a 16"van this is if I stay on the 90 to 100 kms per hr If I go over this watch out only 220 per tank
