Winch for trailer spare

After discussion on the
forum I got a Toyota spare wheel winch from a gas conversion co for free. After some considerable design attempts I settled for extending Mr Toyota's cross-chassis panel attatchments about 25mm with some appropriate fingers and welded them to the sides of the camper trailer chassis rails. Then I bolted the whole thing on to the extensions. Works great and was a great little project which kept me in the sandpit for about two days.
Next have to road test it to see whether the thrown rocks problem is lessened.
