In todays vehicles , the answer would be NO.
They are different. You wouldn't mistake the Terrano you see here in Aus (the
grey import) as a Pathfinder.
No so true on the older vehicles. They are very much alike , but not quite the same vehicles (the Terrano is a diesel , the Pathfinder is a petrol)

the petrol terrano was the same as the first series 1 mk 1-2 pathfinders.....On F.A.S.T parts cd the wd21 is the same as the australian pathfinder wd21.
Dont get mixed up with the terrano II which is a spanish made car for the European market.
It interesting that a car make has three different bodies , all three are still being sold around the world today in different markets today.
You got to give to the old wd21 body that has survived for over 20 years and basicly not been changed except minor interior and exterior face lifts.I think only merc "G" series and range rover{ up to last year}could boast the same......errr and maybe lada.
If landcruisers were so good ,why do they change the car every 10 years?

G'day Shadow
I think Tojo change every 10 years to soak up some tax relief on R&D
and retooling their plants to offset the proffits from the last decade
of cruisers. A huge problem for market leaders I believe.
Just one theory.

How about the old Jeep Cherokee. That shape was around for a while.
