King Billy Track Closure (Alpine National
Park)
The King Billy Track between the Howitt
Carpark and the Macalister River
has been closed due to a landslide approximately 1km east of the Macalister
River. It is considered extremely hazardous to try to drive around the landslide.
Hopefully the landslide can be cleared within the next two weeks.
Errinundra National
Park
Unusually heavy snow falls in Errinundra National
Park this winter have
caused track and tree damage. There are many trees across the tracks and
a large number of broken branches hung up in trees that area risk to public
safety. To allow assessment of the damage and repairs to be undertaken,
the following tracks will remain closed for a further 4 to 6 weeks:
Ada Divide Track
BA Road
Big River Track
Ellery
Camp Track
Errinundra Rd (Gap Rd to Alstergrens Tk)
Far
Creek Track
Goonmirk Rocks Rd
Greens Rd
Hensleigh
Creek Road
Postmans Track
Short Cut Track
Spotmill Track

Duffy's
