Has anyone crossed the
Simpson Desert in a Triton dual cab 4x4 petrol or diesel going east to west. Also how would this vehicle handle creek crossings in the
Kimberley Region Any advice please.

FYI
Although I do not own a Triton, here was my fuel consumption with my Prado.
Crossing west to east
Petrol 3.4L V6 Auto Prado used 130L from Mt.Dare to
Birdsville (628km) roughly 20.5 L/100km . So with the two standards petrol tanks (150L in total) I diidn't need to use a jerry can.
