Has anyone crossed the Simpson Desert in a Triton dual cab 4x4 petrol or diesel going east to west. Also how would this vehicle handle creek crossings in the Kimberley Region Any advice please.

Petrol Pajeros use 90 L( Mt Dare to B'ville), so take an extra Jerry or two to cover yourself.

FYI
Although I do not own a Triton, here was my fuel consumption with my Prado.

Crossing west to east
Petrol 3.4L V6 Auto Prado used 130L from Mt.Dare to Birdsville (628km) roughly 20.5 L/100km . So with the two standards petrol tanks (150L in total) I diidn't need to use a jerry can.

Hope this helps
