Howdy all, looking at fitting a set of set of those new Cooper ATR's in 305/70/16 to my GU Patrol wagon to replace the old 285/75 AT Coopers.
Anyone had any experience with the ATR's yet? What do think their road manners are like and how noisy are they?
Also, the 305 vs 285 size on a Patrol, any problems with it? Had 305 Cooper ST's on the vehicle for a couple of days, but swapped 'em for AT's because of the noise so I never gave them a workout, but they seemed to fit OK.
Any other suggestions for tyres in the 305 size? (I've searched the
forum). I spend all day in my vehicle so I don't want a noisy tyre, don't want flats and don't want to get stuck.

Gday V8Diesel,
My dad has a 100 series and has the new cooper ATRs. He says they are very quiet on road. Good grip on road, but done no off road with them yet.
As for the size I have 33x12.5 muddies on my GQ with a 3" lift. I dont think the extra width would worry you. Remember GUs have larger guards than GQs I think.
Hope this helps
James
