SWMBO rang me at work this morning, the Auto pajero won't reverse!! (1999 NL auto V6 3.5l GLS)
The reversing beeper is active and the lights indicate in reverse but nuffing is happening. What did I do to it?
Try putting it into drive then reverse again and let me know I says in panic suggestion. It worked, but what has happened what! what! what!. Into the workshop for a check up, don't want Mr P mucking up towing the new van this week.
Any body had similar Problems?
Regards

Russell,
When was the last time the AT fluid was checked or changed, just a thought. If that happened in a manual it would cost big dollars.

When it had the major service did they check the auto? If so, take it back and tell em' they broke it...Only downside to that is they will find some excuse to put the blame back on you and bill you a $1,000.00!
Does the auto rely on an electronic sender telling the box you've put it in reverse?
