$1.24.9 ? Cheaper then the station next to it? $1.25? How do they came up with a such price? It almost looks like a phone number.

Four weeks back it was $1.11 in
Birdsville - Isn't that Peter Beattie a great bloke ?
(for those not poly-sav .... the QLD government has much lower fuel taxes than other states it seems - that $1.11 is 1600 km west of
Brisbane !).

Puzzles me how the fuel companies can increase the price of fuel overnight when there's a hint of political unrest, but when there's a reported decrease in the price of crude oil per barrel, the same fuel companies come up with all sorts of reasons to keep the price of fuel higher than normal.
Reckon they have rello's who work in the banks where the same thing happens with the interest rate hikes. Immediate increase overnight and slowwwwww to lower.
Ahhh, the good old working class. We get 'got at' at the bank, and in the
tank.

If you want to compare fuel prices check this site. "On the Road" has fuel prices & road conditions for the whole country. It is fairly up-to-date and easy to use.
There more to Exploroz than the
forum.....
