Davoe ,
Can you hook this up to a notebook and download email etc ??
I just looked at a CDMA wireless network card on the Telstra site which works for this . I also looked at the CDMA I-Mate model PDA2k EVDO pocket PC / mobile phone , but this is big money .
Thanks ,
Willie

I have a Kyocera CDMA which has a port on it to which a cable can be attached and then attached to a laptop. I can also access the Internet via the phone dirtectly through a Web browser but have not enabled any of these features as I have no need for them. I am also not sure of the functionality of the browser. The phone is Qualcomm Kyocera CDMA 3035 which I bought in January 2002 for around $650

I was reading the other day about a card that plugs into your laptop to give wireless internet connection at selected "hotspots" not sure of the deal except it's claimed to work in all airports, Macdonalds & some other
places... would be handy to do internet banking and email etc while on the wallaby as the CDMA solution is very expensive...Telstra quoted me 60 cents a minute with a flag fall...worked out at $20/half hour... Internet Cafes are a lot cheaper....just a thought will have to harangue computer expert...
