Gidday All.I have a Warn XD9000 sitting in the shed that needs rebuilding. What I am afteris where can I buy the parts I need.
Just as a side note I have just returned from NZ where the price of fuel is ridiculous. I paid up to $1.40 lt unleaded and 83 cents for diesel.

I think you will find the distributor is Ateco.

Stuart,
The distributor is indeed Ateco and not sure if you have these guys up there. You can however buy parts from resellers such as ARB etc. I have been going through the rebuild process myself for the 2nd time in 8 years of the exact same winch. What parts are you after in particular?
Regards,
Stuart.

Stuart,
The reason I ask what parts you needed was that I could give you an idea of cost for the various parts so you can make up you mind as to whether its cheaper to rebuild or buy a new winch. The brake assembly for instance is worth a bunch of money.

Stuart.

Another source of s/hand parts is your friendly 4wd repair
shop, sometimes they will have a winch with a burnt out motor or know of a customer with one which can be pillaged for bits.
