Surely if every muso would like to make the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, then every 4by owner would like to make the cover of a 4by mag!!!
Well done Rochie on the latest 4WD Monthly
The cover of Freshwater Fishing would do me.... :-)

I'll have to get a copy to see if he is as "handsome" as everyone says.

Roachie,
Beauty is only skin deep,
Unfortunately in your case we couldn't find it with a pick and shovel hahahaha.
Us ugly blokes have to stick together.
Cheers,
Jim.

All this fame and still you remain humble, one of those shots is straight out of the RM Williams catalouge.....hehe.
As they say we all get our 15 min's of fame, you might just get a month though..........

Hey Roachie you and Des have the same letters in your number plate. Are you related? I see that good looks run in the family.

G'day Bonz,
I dunno what Des' number plate is but I can assure you that he and I are definitely NOT related. He comes from a far more refined lineage that I do....hahaha. Too bad he's a yota owner.....if it wasn't for that fact, he'd be an alright sort of ol' bloke.LOLOL He also seems like a reasonably intelligent bloke, so it's got me stuffed why he'd settle for a yota in the 1st place (but I have my suspicions.......he's been hangin' round pesty too long and gone and got himself brainwashed) hahaha

Patrick,
You might have a different mag mate.....the december issue was only sent out late last week to subscribers. My old bus is on the front cover coming (almost) straight at the camera and you can see the Ultimate hangin' off the back. The article itself goes from page 10 to page 18 (with lotsa ad's in between)....
Cheers,

Patrick; sorry forgot to answer the other part of your question.
Earlier this year I was looking at 4WD Monthly's website and they said they were gunna do a series of articles on vehicles which were set-up for touring and wanted people to let them know if they had a truck that might be interesting. I had just been going through a re-insurance of my stuff at that time and when I looked at the 2 page list of stuff that i had added/modified i the GU, I thought they might be interested. So I emailed them and attached the insurance list and they said they would be interested.
I know they're always on the
lookout for good rigs, so give a try.

Chris,
I'm a subscriber so I receive it a few days earlier than the newsagencies, I was in my local NA today getting my fix of fishing mags and it wasn't on their shelves yet.

I have only just seen the article on Roachie and thought the
suspension stuff was very interesting.
I have a GU Patrol also and have similar load requirements. Roachie, given you went through a few changes to your
suspension setup, if you were starting from scratch what would you do
suspension wise / who would you go to for the work in
Adelaide?
