Hilux 3L Turbo upgrade

The cheapest way I see to turbo my 3L, is to stick a 2nd hand 2l turbo and associated bits on. Is this a waste of time? Is there a better option which won't cost the earth?

If I was you, I'd wait a couple of months until you have the cash together and go the whole hog, new turbo, injectors (if necessary), and exhaust.
Save a headache in the future I reckon!

just in the process of sorting mineout now with a 2nd hand turbo, just waiting for a part, should be going at the end of the week. Has cost $1200 so far with 2 1/2 " exhaust and rebuilt turbo, but a fair bit of work. Will let ya know how it turns out at the end of the week
