Hi, Glenn included this extra information on the 4wdRec@groups.msn.com site, so as it's relevent I thought I would include it here
Things to do include:
Drive the
Border Track from the
Murray River to
Pinnaroo
Drive to
Lake Cullulleraine for a swim/fish/canoe
4wd through the
Park using the numerous tracks contained within
Visit the
Pink Lakes
Visit
Rocket Lake,
the Crater,
Mount Crozier and many other interesting sites.
Visit Hattah Kulkyne National
Park
The area is considered remote, and so adequate fuel and
water MUST be carried
hope to see lots of old and new faces there, and maybe some NSW people might be able to make it as
well....
cheers
Lyn

Hi Paul
according to my 2005 Diary, March 14, is also
Canberra Day, so I guess that means a public holiday for the ACT which may encourage a few to attend...here's hoping..
cheers

Possibly. Great idea. Would mean a lot less travel for Ducky's relatives as they will be coming from
Mildura!

Info for the South Aussies, Travel to Loxton and then take the Taplan Road at the round about adjacent the
Police Station. Proceed past Taplan over the border and turn right after a couple of k's? and follow the signs. Probably about 45k's from Loxton. Also same info on my note in trips.

Boring. Looking at the map if I come in from the south I can use some nice off road tracks. Just give me your mobile number Mr Lexic in case I get stuck. :)

Come up from the
Pinnaroo end and follow the border. Sand will be nice and soft then if there is no rain. If you get stuck, no use ringing anyone as mobiles won't work out there. Just wait until Monday and someone might find you. LOL
