G'day all, new to the site, looks great with all the right info and spirit 4wding and camping involves. Looking for any info on a downloadable user manual for an
FM 650 SD Philips UHF Radio. Need to know a few of the functions. If anyone is looking for any GME Electrophone UHF Manuals, I emailed GME yesterday and recieved a response today from Ken Johnson, QLD Admin Manager with info on free downloadable manuals. Info as follows: Go to www.gme.net.au and click on support, select ' UHF 477 Mhz CB' and then the model you require. Hope this helps. Ken was only too helpful and his prompt response was much appreciated. Thankful for any replies or advice on any of the functions, particularly the 'add/del 1 & 2' switches. Regards
Hems.

Mate, welcome to the fray!

As for the radio, I only use Uniden soley due to the fact that I always have. My first was a uniden and once you get used to a function, you don't want to have to learn another.

Probably your best bet to keep liaising with Ken Johnson!

Hope to help you next time mate!
