Hi all, you may be interested to know that you can obtain a copy of all the vhf/mw radio stations and frequencies across Aus from the ABA

I've created Oziexplorer waypoints for each station too - makes it a breeze finding what's near you in the middle of nowhere and if your favourite station is being re-transmitted. I'll email/post via my web if there's interest (or is there somewhere here I can leave it?).

Cheers all,

Juma

Would be a good file to have loaded. I just travelled around 1/2 of Aus and it was a pain having to retune the radio every couple of hours or more!.

Juma,

Is this different to the downloadable file from this site headed UHF repeaters under the "ön the road tab"?

It's different David. Jumas file contains waypoints for broadcasting stations.

Hi, yes this is the normal radio stations that we listen to, ie ABC, Triple J, etc. I just found it useful to know what's available in a region and where to tune the car radio in to.

I've posted the file on my fledgling web site - follow this and then look for the download part on the screen. here

Note that there's over 2000 waypoints and you need one of the later versions of Ozi to handle this many waypoints.

Cheers, Juma.
