busysteve,
Don't believe rumours, they gave you a bum steer. There's plenty of water in the creek. Got back from
Innamincka at end of July and am pleased to say the creek and bird life was super. Did the river cruise to
Kings marker; worth a thought. Camped at the Cullyamurra
Water Hole and same story - plenty of water. If you go to
Coongie Lakes it's the same story - lot's of water.
Enjoy -
John

Hello,
may i give you a tip: Stay some days at
Innamincka or the area around. There you can
camp at
Coopers Creek, doing some fishing, canoeing and swimming.
The pub at
Innamincka is a visit worth also.
Regards
Joerg

Steve,
We just got back from the
Simpson Desert and stayed at
Cooper Creek for a few enjoyable nights, as mentioned above there is still plenty of water in the creek. The levels have dropped since last year but there is still plenty in there.
