I have 4 x Cooper ST's listed for sale in the Exploroz Trader, I have just received this enquiry, which I think sounds a little suspicious:

hello,
Am interested in buying your product and if it still for sale kindly get back to me as soon as possible.awaiting your soonest response today...
James..

Is this similar to the scam enquiries that were received recently?

OR, if it is genuine, my sincere apologies to the enquirer!

Hi Shaker,

If you think that you have received an email from a scammer, forward the email on to us here and we will look at it. Send it through to Info@ExplorOz.com If it does appear to be a scammer, we can ban their account. We do check most of the emails that go through and if there appears to be one, they get banned instantly.

Through people forwarding the emails, and us checking the emails daily, we seem to have slowed them down.

Good luck with selling your tyres,
Juliana

if its a ozz e-mail addy you should reply and ask for a phone number .
nothing ventured nothing gained

was thinking about your tyrres for my zook actually now you mention it.

If you do get any emails from these scammers particularly from Africa, have a read of this "how to scam a scammer" it's brilliant.

That, that was just so PRICELESS!!!!

The funniest thing is, is that it's EXACTLY how these buggers write & talk!!!

As I have posted before, my daughter got caught up in one of these, and it was funny watching it pan out.

Both my Wife & Daughter were worried because of the phone calls they were getting in the middle of the night, but I had to let it play out.

My son & I had warned them that it was a scam, but it fell on deaf ears. Shlt is was funny to hear this little prick on Rhiannan's mobile phone.......... begging for money. It got to the stage that for a while, every time her phone rang, she wouldn't answer it, in case it was this guy. I would answer it, and pretend it was one of her girl friends! I'd then pass the phone to her..........

Anyway, it all worked out good. She's got a $5000.00 US Bank Cheque in her room with a big stamp across it from the bank, a mighty souvenir indeed!

Life is sure funny some days!!

They also get the Scammers to take photos of themselves holding up a sign or something funny as part of te authenticatin process. It is quite a laugh.
