A mate has an 80 series with a spare wheel carrier on the back. The spare wheel is on the back left and the whole body sits lower about 50mm on that back corner.
Even with new 2" tough dog springs. He has put a 30mm packer on the back left spring to level it.
I have seen other 80's with this tilt. Does anyone have any reason for this other than the weight of the spare because it still sat that way right away with the new springs. And yes the right springs are in the correct place.
Thanking you in advance
James.

I find it hard to belive that the spare caused such a inbalance . A 30 ml packer is to much valience to compensate a rear wheel carrier . Usually a rear end lop side , is caused from a front spring . I know this sounds wiered , but a front spring issues shows up more in the rear than in the front . I would remove all springs and check them side to side . You will find the drivers side spring around 5 mm higher . Some people swap them to the passenger side to compensate for off side heavy loads.

I have the same problem but it can be attributed solely to a 50mm bodylift.
Prior to that there was no issue despite steel rims and 285/75R16 MTR tyres.
I can't see that the spare wheel carrier could have caused this and your mate needs to be looking at other reasons I believe.
Hope this helps
