Hi All,
Have been looking to change tyres on the disco, increase size to 245/75/16. I want an A/T and my options are BFG, Cooper st or Good year ATR. heard lots of good and bad stories about both Coop's and BFG but not much with the gooyear ATR. I was lucky enough to road test a disco with Goodies ATR fitted and found them good along the black stuff. Any one got any comments.

Go the Coopers. ST-C has softer compound like the Goodyear.
Researched and thought about this long enough to choose them.
You might even go bigger with 50mm lift. see disco2.com
Plenty of posts on subject here if you search.

BFG's on my Defender Xtreme, 100,000+ klm's, rotated once ever, very even wear, about 30,000 klm in dirt. Never a flat yet (touch wood), not noisy or spongy on the road, excellent in sand (Simpson crossing). I will definitely get BFG again for my Land Rover.
